Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Electrical Solution Company Ltd. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our MEP engineering services, website, and any related services provided by Electrical Solution Company Ltd ("we," "us," or "our"). By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Electrical Solution Company provides comprehensive MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineering services including but not limited to:

• MEP Design, Supervision and Construction
• HVAC Systems Installation and Maintenance
• Fire & Safety Systems
• Electrical and Low Current Systems
• Plumbing and Water Distribution Systems
• Energy Audit, Certification and Reporting
• Green Building Consultancy & Facility Management
• Power Systems Design and Installation

As our client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete project information
• Grant necessary site access for our technical team
• Make timely payments as per agreed payment schedules
• Comply with all safety regulations during project execution
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals as required
• Inform us promptly of any changes to project requirements

Payment terms are as follows:

• Project quotations are valid for 30 days from date of issue
• Payment schedules will be agreed upon in the project contract
• Late payments may incur additional charges
• All payments must be made in Rwandan Francs (RWF) unless otherwise agreed
• Disputed invoices must be raised within 14 days of receipt

We provide the following warranties:

• 12-month warranty on all installation works from completion date
• 24-month warranty on electrical equipment supplied by us
• Defects arising from faulty workmanship will be rectified free of charge
• Warranties do not cover damage due to misuse or normal wear and tear
• Emergency support available 24/7 for critical installations

Our liability is limited as follows:

• Maximum liability shall not exceed the total contract value
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
• Client must provide adequate insurance coverage for the project
• Force majeure events are excluded from our liability
• Any claims must be made within 12 months of project completion

Regarding intellectual property:

• All designs and technical drawings remain our intellectual property
• Clients receive usage rights for the specific project only
• No reproduction or modification without written consent
• Third-party intellectual property rights are respected
• Confidential information is protected under non-disclosure agreements

We ensure compliance with:

• Rwanda Standards Board (RSB) regulations
• Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA) requirements
• Institute of Engineers Rwanda (IER) professional standards
• LEED™ and RwGBO green building standards
• Local building codes and safety regulations
• International engineering best practices

Either party may terminate services:

• With 30 days written notice for ongoing contracts
• Immediately for material breach of contract
• Upon completion of all project deliverables
• By mutual agreement of both parties
• All outstanding payments must be settled upon termination

Any disputes will be resolved through:

• Direct negotiation between parties as first step
• Mediation through recognized professional bodies
• Arbitration under Rwandan commercial law
• Local courts as final resort
• All proceedings conducted in Kigali, Rwanda
